This adventure accentuates an authentic African Safari experience from start to finish. You will be collected from your Johannesburg hotel by a professional driver. From Johannesburg, head east via Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview to spectacular Mpumalanga 'Place Where The Sun Rises'. Enter the world famous Kruger National Park and spend the afternoon game viewing in an open safari vehicle. Return to the hotel as the dinner drum sounds and enjoy dinner under the stars in a traditional African Boma (weather permitting).

DAY 2:
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – SABIE – LYDENBURG – DULLSTROOM - JOHANNESBURG
Early morning game viewing on an open safari vehicle in the Kruger National Park with an experienced game ranger, seeking the Big 5, general wildlife and prolific bird life. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, return to Johannesburg via Sabie, travel over the scenic Long Tom Pass to Lydenburg. Continue via Dullstroom to Johannesburg arriving in the early evening (approx, 18h30). Drop off at your hotel or OR Tambo International Airport.

DAY 1:
JOHANNESBURG – MPUMALANGA - SABIE
From Johannesburg your tour heads east to Mpumalanga ‘Place Where The Sun Rises’, via the historic towns of Witbank, Dullstroom and Lydenburg. Travel over the Robbers Pass on to the quaint mining town of Pilgrims Rest where you will have a short stop. Visit the Lone Creek Waterfalls before arriving at your elegant hideaway.

WINE TASTING - ROUTE 62 - MOSSEL BAY
Depart Cape Town driving over Du Toit’s Kloof Pass to the town of Robertson. Pass Montagu, a quaint country village and enjoy a wine tasting en-route. This is followed by a traditional South African lunch (included) in Barrydale. After lunch, our journey to the beautiful Wilderness continues, visiting the Diaz Museum in Mossel Bay. FEATHERBED – KNYSNA ELEPHANT SANCTUARY
TIGK TOUR - Nature’s Beauty and Nostalgia
From your hotel in Wilderness, travel to the Knysna Waterfront and embark on the Featherbed Nature Reserve ferry. On arrival we take a ‘Unimog’ (tractor driven wagon) ride to the top of the Western Head. An optional hike can be taken through the indigenous Knysna forest to the restaurant area where lunch (included) is served. Upon returning to Knysna, enjoy an interactive elephant experience. Return to Wilderness via a scenic sightseeing drive in the late afternoon. Dinner (not included) is available at the hotel or at one of the nearby restaurants.

Experience the stunning views of the Outeniqua Pass as we travel towards the Klein Karoo’s capital - Oudtshoorn. Here we visit the Safari Ostrich Ranch for a guided tour and traditional ostrich lunch (included). After lunch, visit the Cango Caves, where a guided tour allows us to explore the ancient stalagmites and stalactites. Depart Cape Town travelling along South Africa’s longest wine route, Route 62. En route, pass through Worcester, Montagu and Robertson. SAFARI – REPTILE AND CHEETAH BREEDEING CENTRE - WAENHUISKRANS
An early morning game drive followed by breakfast and an informative tour of the lodge's Reptile Centre and Cheetah Breeding Centre. Continue via Swellendam to your hotel at Waenhuiskrans, set in the beauty of white limestone cliffs, giant sand dunes, pristine beaches, stunning nature reserves and the aquamarine waters of the Indian Ocean. DAY 1:
PORT ELIZABETH - SAFARI
Depart Port Elizabeth and transfer by air-conditioned microbus to the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve. Enjoy lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This reserve boasts five eco-systems, supporting the many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Game viewing is enjoyed in open vehicles with a trained ranger (Silver tours are in the Bushman Sands Reserve). As the light fades, with the help of a powerful hand-held spotlight, your ranger will search for nocturnal animals. Dinner under the African skies (weather permitting).
